Jordo and Steve began working together at Lastport Tattoo in 2018. While tattooing side by side they built a friendship built on kindness and trust. Through their shared passion for infusing mindfulness and kindness into the service they give, they have found this ceremony of marking the body to be empowering to both client and tattooer as we all learn, heal and grow through this journey of life together.

In June 2021, Jordo and Steve took over as new owners of Lastport and decided to move the studio down the street to 120 Bridge, a space on the sunny side of the street with a beautiful big window. It feels light and open and is a beautiful, safe space to create in.

The space has become a hub for art and tattooing at the Top of the South Island, with guest artists becoming a regular feature. Flash days have continued to happen twice a year, always with huge support from our friends and local businesses.

Jordo and Steve are unified in finding connection and trust to create your tattoo, and to provide an environment as safe and clean as possible. They are grateful for the all-natural products from ‘local legends’ Aromaflex, Kara Kawa and Native Junkie, used to support the process.

Outside of tattooing, Jordo and Steve share a passion for music, moving the body, being in nature and the array of sports the beautiful Tasman Bay has to offer.
